Designer: paul andrewlocation : under the vaults and columns of the rotonda della besanainspiration: for his fourth collection for salvatore ferragamo, but first as director of creation, paul andrew is inspired by his family, his childhood, but also the heritage of the italian label and notably the iconic vara bow pump shoe as well as the fountain of neptune in florence, which has been recently restored thanks to the ferragamo group. collection: the emphasis is on leather, which is omnipresent on male short-sleeved shirts, high waisted trousers, bermuda shorts or jumpsuits. light and fluid, agreeing perfectly with the summer and youthful spirit of this collection. small ballgowns, appearing alongside caftan-shirts and ultra-light baggy trousers. the neptune-inspired prints decorate the bermuda outfits or, in a more sophisticated but still light way, a devore velvet dress with thin straps.to note: the new “vara” pump, restyled and renamed “viva”, worn with socks, men’s ankle espadrilles boots and various bag offers. music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
