Acne Studios : Spring/Summer 2020 Menswear Collection in Paris
Creative director: jonny johannsoninspiration/location: at the heart of maison de la radio, with its large bay windows and powder pink benches forming many straight corridors, through which the new acne collection was shown. collection: soft, delicate artisanal. many details in this collection bring a completely new look to the silhouette, such as the long fringes on sweaters protruding from the sleeves of jackets, the lines of lace on the shirts, pleated effects created by small pop fasteners on the front. a certain idea of assembly also appears, with interwoven bands that look like paper, creating a lightweight effect.the functionality of the outwear has also been redesigned. the jackets transform into shirts or pockets are integrated into the garment, straps replace the belt, all made as thin as possible.the materials are incredible, as always, from leather to suede, with an emphasis on wool work, cyclists are seen in woollen coats and long cardigans. note: the red knits and patchwork effects on a bermuda and a coat & the subtle effects of transparency brought by games of materials & the must have accessory: the neck scarf. music from the show (for use only in the context of the show, under the cover of the right to information).
