Artistic Director: Alessandro Dell’ AcquaCollaboration: A chic collection that distances itself from the sportswear trend. The designer explores an erotic world through a marine theme and materials like vinyl. The silhouette is fitted and the leading piece in this collection, the shirt, is reinterpreted in multiple ways, in leather or in light lace, it is enlivened with details and is tucked into a high waisted trouser. The colours used are strong (apple green, blood red). Marine references are seen through a jumper with an anchor motif, a sailor style handbag worn over the shoulder, a large chain around the neck and layers of vest tops.Focus on: The faux fur coat in leopard print or gathered and fastened at the waist + colourful zip-up boots.Interview with Alessandro Dell'Acqua:The inspiration was the movie of Fassbinder which is “Querelle de Brest”.It’s about the sailors, but not the sailors with muscles, more about the fragility of the men together. The “cameratismo” (camaraderie), with a little bit of “erotismo” (erotic) in this situation, but with a completely masculine situation. the look is not sport but made in a sartorial mood, with a little bit nonchalance, not super classic, but the material and the colour and all the silhouette is super masculine. I want to see now the new elegance. For me it’s very important, not only a sportswear mood. Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
