CHLOE Show- Women's Collection Autumn/Winter 2018/19 in Paris

Artistic Director: Natacha Ramsay LevyPlace: Maison de la Radio (HQ of Radio France)Collection: A second work from the young designer, supported by her mentor Nicholas Ghesquière who sat front row among other famous faces: Lou Doillon, Isabelle Hupper, Alexa Chung…A sharp wardrobe, a fluid and worked silhouette with plunging necklines, undershirts, slit skirts which allow a glimpse of short shorts, and autumnal colours, elevated with sparkling gold. A work on knitwear as well, for close fitting dresses, low cut at the waist, jumpers with puffed sleeves and the new Jodhpur trousers with detailing and zips. Focus on: outerwear such as parka with a satin aspect or a small, short shearling jacket. We find asymmetry and lace scattered onto feminine dresses, a belted masculine jacket worn over a fluid and flared skirt, as always there are several frills and shirts with pointed collars, a slightly zebra and graphic print for an slightly longline silhouette and a fixed waist. To note: the long chains around the neck, the bags which will be once again voted in by the Chloé girls, the brand name appearing on the sleeves and socks.
