Rynshu: Men's show Autumn/Winter 2018/19 (with interview)

Designer: RynshuCollection: Inspired by the singer Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi with whom the designer collaborated for the singer’s music video Black Train. References to Japanese traditions and the designer’s roots are omnipresent. Words, lyrics, and extracts from a poem by the artist Sakki are inscribed onto black jackets. A palette of colours dominated by black with touches of midnight blue, fuchsia, plum and lilac. Focus: on the luxurious materials such as cashmere and alpaca wool, paired with padded elements bringing a rock touch to the coats and capes. + A patchwork jacket, laser cut in black taffeta and handstitched flowers + trousers with multiple zips + the animal print fringed trousers and boots. Velvet and jacquard with an iridescent effect for the suits. To note: the designer was also model for the day and appeared on the catwalk.Interview with Rynshu:I was inspired by Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi and his new album Black Train, a rock album, I’m inspired by that. This is Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi’s message of Black Train and his song and the stitch is writing from the song So this is a stitched jaguar and leopard figure and we have the hands, the legs and the tail covering the pants.
