Matthew Williamson Women's Fall/Winter 2014/15 Collection in London (with itw)
In the spirit of disco, matthew williamson dances up a storm. the designer celebrates the 70s in his own style, overwhelming us with a multitude of dresses, outfits and gowns dominated by stars, whether embroidered, stamped or printed in rhinestones or sequins. to this, the designer adds a graphic, even psychedelic aspect, perfectly balanced by this historic marble hall located in the beautiful borough of westminster where this show takes place. music from the fashion showmatthew williamson:it was about looking at the 70s really, the 70s jet set, bohemian sensibility, the territory that i am used to but for the modern woman.there are lots of graphic stars, lots of black and white, monochrome, a new look for matthew. i love a bit of embellishment.elisa sednaoui:there was a real disco image and there were lots of outfits that you could wear to a nightclub or a party so that was great.there were lots of stars and also this graphic, slightly optical element, which i really liked. the furs were really nice and fun. you could see a lot of english humour throughout the show.
