Valentino - Autumn Winter 2013-2014 Haute Couture Collection in Paris (with ITW)
Maria grazia chiuri and pierpaolo piccioli imagine enchanted couture for valentino’s autumn/winter 2013-2014 haute couture collection. they were inspired by the treasure that they discovered in museums, they cut impeccable, but with surprises: necklines take the form of martingales and little capes are transplanted on jackets or on dresses. masculine fabrics are generously embroidered and encrusted in lace; paradoxical with the black lingerie dresses in calais lace, embroidered in black or in gold.
music from the fashion show
natalia vodiana: it’s like a beautiful faberge egg, some of those closing dresses are really beautiful, but i’m really embarrassed because i missed the beginning of the show, but luckily i could get in to see most of it!
valentino garavani: their work is incredible and besides they have had a lot of success, they sell a lot, so i’m very proud of that.
it made me think of something very romantic at the end, i love all of the designs, i love the corals that they have put that are a bit ‘old valentino’, but even so, very, very well interpreted. finally, i saw coats, herringbone patterns, and things like that, that got me even more, and always have, i liked it a lot.
