GUCCI - Spring/Summer show 2018 in Milan

Designer: Alessandro MicheleAtmosphere: Day one of Milan begins with the highly anticipated Gucci show. The house, property of the Kering group, welcomes us in their new home, an old red brick industrial site, restored as the Gucci headquarters. A room immersed in fog, antique statues and ancient doors make up the décor for this summer season.Theme: The act of creation as an act of resistanceCollection: A mix of influences, floral patterns, shimmering colours and shiny fabrics. A flamboyant collection, opulent, unisex, with a mix of genres, rich in embroidery, with inscribed messages. As always, lots of fantasy, a clownish touch and 70s and 80s references. The men dare to wear short shorts, high socks and suit jackets. The women show completely floral looks, in long and delicate slit dresses and dresses with retro pleats. The designer continues to develop his phantasmagoric universe with animal prints. To note: embroidered cagoules and chinstraps, large hoop earrings for the men, many pairs of glasses, from the most serious to the most original, bags and totes with the drawing of an eye and a tear. Music from the show (for use only incontext of the show, under cover of the right to information).
