Giambattista Valli - Haute Couture collection Spring/Summer 2017/18 in Paris (with interview)

Designer : Giambattista Valli Inspiration : First passage dedicated to France Sozzani ( former editor in chief of Vogue Italy who died in December 2016 ), faithful friend and unfailing supporter of the Italian designer. A free woman who travels in the gardens of paradise...Collection : a lot of freshness for the cocktail dresses with cut edges printed with flowers, lined with ostrich feathers, or embroidered with pearls and crystal pendants over the course of the collection. In the course of the collection flowers impose themselves on the silhouette, just like the volumes with ruffled ball dresses and draped silk chiffon evening dresses printed with bouquets. To note : The jewelry of high jeweler Buccellati that elegantly accessorizes certain silhouettesInterview with Giambattista Valli :It’s an open woman, she experiments, and here she is leaving for a journey, a wandering journey that starts with a bang, so she went on a trip, and when she gets her clothes out of her suitcase, there are these pleats, and little by little, the whole story is revealed, all these smells, these spaces, the gardens of paradise, these Mongol gardens, these gardens of Rajasthan, and there is like a music, of colours and of prints, a kind of biorhythmic writing, in which there are contrasting volumes between the front and the back, there is a colour which contrasts with another, there is a kind of bond between it all which creates a kind of harmony.Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
