Gianfranco Ferré - Spring Summer Collection 2014 in Milan

Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron from Gianfranco Ferré have chosen to maintain the codes of the fashion house, through almost architectural research into the structure of clothes, highlighting a feminine and sensual look. Dresses seem to multiply under the different layers of the fabrics, like origami, while large belts are transformed into a sort of obi. Fluidity is carried off by precious materials such as gazar or satin. A long white overcoat falls perfectly along with a long, black, split dress, hinting at a pair of shorts, or a midnight-blue, wrap-around bustier dress which closes the show, reminding us that simplicity is often enough to display such talent and to ensure the longevity of a label.
