Best Of Stockholm Fashion Week

For last days in January, Stockholm vibrated with fashion thanks to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Swedish brands created a show through their mise en scène. An example with Odd Molly who asked ice skaters to wear the collection presented outside on the famous ice rink located in the centre. For Cheap Monday, the décor - a kind of futuristic gym - gave scope to a rather dull collection. At Back t-shirts with messages include the décor stripes. Moving onto the clothes, women will definitely be well wrapped. Many proposals for overcoats like at Altewaisome and their zipped rounded jackets. At Carin Wester, it's all about long coats, a masculine trend and at Dagmar the first model, a black trench with caped sleeves sets the tone for a winter full of femininity, not to mention the play on big pockets. Another trend with light and colored prints, like at Marimekko who attempts to use motifs or again at Mayla and their bird prints inspired by the Hitchcock masterpiece. The Marant "rock'n'roll" style continues to be more and more appreciated at Hunkydoryor the preppy American way at Ida Sjostedt. Finally it's the menswear collection which really marked the week with J.Linderberg and his elegant men, a mix of sportswear and tailoring. At The Local Firm, men dare to mix genres in a rebel spirit while Whyred plays the card of mastered sophistication with details and close cuts to the body.
